Ethel M. Wood Lecture list on-line

Thanks to a suggestion made in the comments to my last post by Sean du Toit I hace started to investigate whether it would be possible to get one of the Ethel M. Wood lectures put on-line. I have made initial contact with the publishers (Continuum) and with London University and await replies. In the meantime I have compiled a list of the lectures. As far as I know there is no complete list on-line, so I have attempted to reconstruct one from bibliographic references on There are a number of significant lectures in the series and I will make enquiries to see if there are any plans to put the whole series on-line. If anyone can help fill in the blanks in the later lectures, please let me know.
Update 19/06/2006.
My initial conversation with the copyright holder was positive and I now need to gather together copies of the series and submit word-counts. If anyone has copies of any of the booklets listed and would be willing to supply photocopies, please contact me.

Development plans for

Visitor numbers are beginning to fall to their summer holiday levels and I am considering what new material can be added to the site. There are a number of pre-1935 articles listed on the site that are now Public Domain - in theory. I say "in theory" because they will not actually become Public Domain until someone scans them and puts them on-line. Thanks to a generous gift from from one of the site's supporters I now plan to do so and 10 articles of this kind should be appearing on the site in the next couple of months.
